All politicians are the same, right? Well, sometimes it might seem that way, but there are real ideological differences between political parties that influence the decisions taken by policy-makers.
As part of our coverage of the European Parliament elections in May, we’ll be looking at each of the manifestos published by the various parties in the European Parliament. We’ll highlight some of the key points from each manifesto and present them to you in a clear and attractive format.
You can compare the different positions and see which party is closest to your own beliefs. You can also submit questions and comments about the manifestos, and we’ll try to get them answered by representatives of the different parties. Then, when you’ve made up your mind, you can show your support for the party that you like the most in our Debating Europe Vote 2014!
