We’ve had over 2,000 questions and comments sent in to date as part of our Diversity Project. Topics have ranged from language, to youth participation in politics, to racism and discrimination, to immigration and asylum policies. In order to get a response to some of these comments, we co-hosted a panel discussion on 15th April at the Student Forum Maastricht, an annual student conference bringing together students from all over Europe with EU policymakers.
Taking part in the debate (and answering questions from our commenters) were:
- Rebecca Harms MEP, Co-Chair of Group of the Greens / European Free Alliance, Member of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee
- Marian-Jean Marinescu MEP, Vice-Chair of the European People’s Party, former Romanian Member of Parliament
- Michael Theurer MEP, Member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs for the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe (ALDE)
- Hosuk Lee-Makiyama, Director of the European Centre For International Political Economy
